Team Development

After Character Development, team building could arguably be the most important ingredient to the success of your team both off and on the field; and in the present as well as the future lives of your athletes. Team development can be built on the same four principles of success as personal development: love, responsibility, humility, and commitment. From these four principles the following will branch out through every individual and guide them through athletics and life: communication, accountability, trust, leadership, teaching skills, learning skills, respect, criticism (how to give and receive), compassion, service, passion, goal setting, discipline, work ethic, and so much more. Vince Lombardi believed that, “Success demands singleness of purpose,” within a team. Getting your team to identify a singleness of purpose using these four principles will lead them to prevail against any odds in athletics and life.
